Comm: Comforting

Luna: That doesn't sound as strange as you may think. You aren't the first traveler to come to Equestria, and I doubt you'll be the last. In fact, I know a way to get you home whenever you want to go back.

Ebony: That's probably not the best idea.

Luna: What brings you to that conclusion?

Ebony: Last I checked, it's not a good idea to go back to the place of your death.

*Without another word, Ebony plops down and looks at the ground. Luna sits down and uses her wing to help comfort the filly*

Luna: That is a first, but do not worry little one, I will figure out some way to help.

Ebony: You're welcome to try.

Luna: I shall do more than try, I shall succeed. Tell me, little one, what is your name?

Ebony: My name is, or rather was, Jack Edwards. Not that it matters much, that's the name of a dead man, one who will never see his family or friends again.

Luna: Do not look upon the matter so grimly. Yes, what you say is true, and you can certainly mourn your own death and personal losses... but try to also look at it in another way. You are dead in the world you came from, but were given life anew in this world.

Ebony: No disrespect, your highness, but that's not really helping.

Luna: Very well, then, let me help with more than just words. Every child needs a home and loving family. They say love is the greatest medicine, after all.

Ebony: That's all well and good, Princess, but I don't even have an identity in this world. I don't have a name, a history... I just simply exist. I'm an alien in this world, who wants to foster an alien?

Luna: I certainly wouldn't mind.
